Steve Krizman’s consultancy, Connected Communication, thrives in that space where PR meets marketing. They shake hands, discover they have a lot in common, and decide to make music together. Before long, they realize the music needs amplification, so they call on their friends Employee Communications and Community Relations, who bring their megaphones.
In too many organizations, these functions toil away on their own stages. So inefficient. So much lost opportunity. They are working with the same music, the organization’s story, which is its essence and increasingly part of the organization’s product. If they would just band together, the story would burst through in surround sound.
Steve has integrated these teams in health care, higher education, and media. With a first career as reporter and editor at newspapers across the country, storytelling is his prime talent. He developed brand-building expertise while helping Kaiser Permanente create the ground-breaking Thrive advertising campaign, and later while helping the University of Colorado re-brand its downtown Denver campus and medical center.
His team developed Kaiser Permanente’s first content marketing platform, curating a deep well of visual and written content to support marketing and customer retention. That branched out into the organization’s first automated marketing system that has captured and nurtured leads for both B2B and B2C programs.
Steve is available to help diagnose your content needs, whether for corporate communications or marketing (and he would be glad to introduce the two to each other). He has change management expertise to help implement communication redesigns. He is experienced in a wide variety of communication channels, including social media. He also is able to help you develop a consistent monitoring and measurement system that will provide you actionable insights and satisfaction that you are having impact.
